ThreatWarden24/7 security operations for the age of AI-driven attacks
Attackers now use AI to find and weaponize vulnerabilities in days, not months. ThreatWarden puts RackNation's in-house SOC between your servers and that risk. We deploy and manage your security stack, harden and patch your systems, and respond to threats the moment they appear, day or night.
Why now
The window between disclosure and exploitation has collapsed
AI tools have made it faster and cheaper to discover flaws, write working exploits and scan the internet for vulnerable servers. A patch cycle that was acceptable two years ago now leaves you exposed for weeks.
The old modelSecurity handled in-house, between other priorities
- Patches applied during the next maintenance window
- Logs reviewed only when something already seems wrong
- Antivirus that only knows yesterday's threats
- Hardening done once at install, then forgotten
- Nobody watching at 3 AM on a Sunday
With ThreatWardenA dedicated security operation working on your servers continuously
- Actively exploited vulnerabilities fixed or mitigated within 48 hours
- Every server's logs and integrity analyzed in real time
- Behavioral XDR detection that catches unknown threats
- AI-assisted hardening that adapts as new threats emerge
- Analysts on shift 24/7 who contain threats, not just forward alerts
What's included
A complete security operation, managed for you
We install, configure and run every component. You don't need to buy separate licenses, staff a SOC or tune detection rules.
Agentic hardening · Linux servers
AI-assisted hardening that keeps up with new threats
Traditional hardening happens once, at install, and drifts from there. ThreatWarden uses AI agents, supervised by our engineers, to audit every Linux server against industry benchmarks, propose fixes tailored to what that server actually runs, and re-harden it whenever a new threat changes the picture.
- DiscoverAgents map the server: running services, open ports, installed packages, users, kernel settings and what the workload actually needs.
- AuditThe configuration is scored against CIS Benchmarks and security best practices. Every gap is identified and prioritized.
- PlanThe agent drafts a hardening plan for your specific workload, so it won't break the web server, database or application you depend on.
- Approve & applyA RackNation engineer reviews every change. Approved changes are applied in stages, with a configuration snapshot taken first so any step can be rolled back.
- Watch & adaptWazuh flags any drift from the hardened baseline. New CVEs trigger a fresh review, closing the gap until a vendor patch arrives.
What gets hardened
SSH and authentication policy, firewall rules, kernel and network parameters (sysctl), unnecessary services and packages, file permissions and ownership, user and sudo privileges, audit logging, mandatory access control (SELinux/AppArmor), and the configuration of common services such as web servers, databases and mail.
Mitigation before the patch exists
When a serious vulnerability is announced before a fix is available, agents identify which of your servers are affected and propose interim mitigations. These include disabling a vulnerable module, restricting access to an exposed service or applying a vendor workaround, so your exposure shrinks while the patch is still on its way.
Incident response
What happens when something is detected
- DetectWazuh and Trend Micro XDR raise an alert, correlated with activity across your servers.
- TriageA SOC analyst investigates within minutes to confirm whether it's a real threat and how serious it is.
- ContainConfirmed threats are contained immediately through host isolation, process termination, IP blocking or account lockout.
- NotifyWe inform you by phone and ticket: what happened, what we did and what's at risk.
- RemediateWe close the entry point by patching, hardening or fixing the misconfiguration so it doesn't happen again.
- ReportA written incident summary follows, and the lessons learned feed back into your server's hardening baseline.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Which servers can be covered?
Linux and Windows servers hosted with RackNation, including HyperFlex Cloud Servers, Linux VPS, Dedicated Servers and colocated hardware. Contact us about servers hosted elsewhere.
Will the AI agents make changes to my servers on their own?
No. Agents audit, analyze and prepare hardening plans, but a RackNation engineer reviews and approves every change before it's applied. A configuration snapshot is taken first, so any change can be reversed.
Will hardening break my applications?
Plans are built around what each server actually runs, and changes are applied in stages. If a change affects a service, we roll it back. For sensitive workloads, we can agree to apply changes only in a maintenance window you approve.
Do I need to buy Wazuh or Trend Micro licenses separately?
No. Wazuh and the Trend Micro XDR license for Windows servers are included in the monthly price.
What does "contain" mean in practice?
When we confirm a threat, we take immediate steps to stop it spreading or causing damage: isolating the host from the network, terminating malicious processes, blocking attacker IPs or disabling compromised accounts. We notify you right away and agree on next steps together.
How is this different from VPS Server Management?
VPS Management keeps a Linux VPS updated, tuned and running. ThreatWarden adds a dedicated security layer on top: SIEM and XDR tooling, 24/7 SOC analysis, defined patch SLAs for exploited vulnerabilities, continuous AI-assisted hardening and active incident containment, on both Linux and Windows.
Is there a minimum term?
Service is billed monthly. Annual prepay is available with two months free.
